Introduction
University of Strathclyde offers a number of scholarships for our applicants joining our January 2021 intake postgraduate taught programmes, and applicants joining our postgraduate research programmes in the 2020/21 academic year. All self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying offer holders with strong academic qualifications are encouraged to apply. Please note – you must hold an offer to a full-time degree programme starting in the 2020/2021 academic year before your scholarship application will be considered.

Applicants for our January 2021 intake postgraduate taught degrees will typically receive a typical scholarship award of £3,150 deducted from your tuition fees.*
In addition to this, we also have a limited number of Dean’s International Excellence Awards. These scholarships are worth £5,000 and will be offered to exceptional applicants at postgraduate taught level only.
If you’re applying for postgraduate research degree programme, you’ll receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15% reduction of your tuition fees for each year of study. Your first year’s scholarship will be £3,150.
